Meet the Staff

		Lori Bradford The first person you’re likely to meet when you call or come in is Lori. With her friendly smile and understanding manner you’ll instantly feel right at home. She handles all the scheduling, insurance, HIPPA compliance and financial matters in the office and may just be the most organized person you ever met. Born in Cortez, Colorado, she later went to high school in Glenwood Springs, and then came back to Cortez to study accounting before moving to Moab, Utah, where she became a dental assistant in 1976. After moving to Boulder in 1986 she assisted for 3 ½ yrs. before a career change to flower design from 1989-96. Finally, she came to work for Dr. Colbert in 1996 where she has been ever since. Lori and her husband Bill, live in Louisville with their rescued border collie, Gracie. Her hobbies are crafts, reading and camping in their RV.
		Maureen Mangnall, EDDA That whirlwind you see whizzing around the office is Maureen, our Expanded-Duties Dental Assistant. In addition to her work as a chairside assistant to Dr. Colbert, she handles all the dental equipment and supply inventory, much of the lab work and is our OSHA compliance officer. Though born in Grand Island, Nebraska, she moved to Westminster at age 2. After high school graduation, Maureen went to cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser from 1986-94. She then went back to school at Front Range Comm. College to receive her EDDA certification. She worked as a dental assistant in a couple of other offices before joining Dr. Colberts’ team in 2001. She and her husband Tye live in Westminster with their gang-- 7 yr. old son Tyler and 4 yr. old daughter Brooke. Her interests include motorcycles, reading, biking and Las Vegas gambling.
		Abbe Gilroy, RDH Have you ever met someone with so much personality they make every place feel like a party starts when they arrive? That’s our hygienist, Abbe. I guarantee you’ve never had so much fun getting your teeth cleaned! Born in Devil’s Lake, N. Dakota, she quickly moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana at age 3. After high school she got her degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana Univ. in 2000. She worked for a temp. hygiene service for 2 years but shortly after filling in at Dr. Colbert’s office, it was apparent her hygiene and communication skills made her a must-have perfect fit for our patients and staff alike. Abbe lives in Louisville with her medical device salesman husband, Jamie. They just had a baby girl in Nov. ‘05. Her name is Gabrielle and she is adorable. She joined their growing family of 2 dogs, Payton and Sienna.
		Paulette Watkins RDH BS The newest member of our team, though not new to dentistry, is our hygienist, Paulette. When it came time for Abbe's maternity leave, we purposed to search as long as it takes to find that special someone who combines gentleness and skill with knowledge and experience. A tall order indeed, but, after trying out many others, we discovered Paulette. A true voice of experience, paulette hails from a long line of dentists. (Her grandfather was a dentist, as are her father, her uncle and her brother). Originally from Rhode Island, she obtained her RDH BS from Rhode Island Univ. and, after a few years in her father's practice, she moved to Pennsylvania for 8 yrs. and then to Tulare, California, where she practiced for 11 years prior to settling in Colorado in 1996. She lives with her husband, Mark and her daughter, Annie in Louisville, where she and Mark cooridinate a Bible study fellowship. Her hobbies include camping and hiking. Welcome Paulette!
